Cold training with Mark

The cold training consists of three elements: breathing exercises, cold training and developing focus. The exercises are very effective and easy to learn.

Breathing exercises:
By breathing well, you bring more oxygen into your body. A lot of oxygen means deacidification of your body and a more efficient functioning of your organs. In addition, you stimulate the autonomic nervous system and your immune system. You will also experience a deep peace and 'silence' in the head. In the time in which we are now, you need a strong immune system.

Cold workout.
By exposing your body to the cold, you train the condition and elasticity of your vascular system, you strengthen the immune system, you stimulate the production of the healthier brown fat (ie white fat-burning fat) and you learn to control your breathing.
Cold is also the ultimate teacher for a strong focus. However, cold can also be dangerous. Do not enter an ice bath or open water unprepared and never do this alone. It is important to let your body get used to the cold slowly and to build up the training slowly. Start by ending your shower with cold or lukewarm water. This is also the reason why I recommend following the 4/8/12 week program.

Developing focus. With a strong focus you have more control over your life, and you are busy with the things that are important to you. You are no longer 'lived' and time does not suddenly fly by. What you do, you do with attention. Developing focus and a strong mindset is done through meditation, controlled physical exercises and cold training.

Cold workout
Cold training sessions under the guidance of Marcel and me are known for the personal approach, humor and the enormous effect. In the training, a lot of attention is paid to your limits and wishes. No massive groups, but a small training group with enough space for your questions and experiences. Sharing your experience is very important in this training. In this way we learn from each other.

The cold workouts are very accessible. All three parts of the method are extensively discussed. It is clearly explained how the method works. Of course there is also a lot of room to carry out the exercises in practice. Because you only really understand it when you feel it yourself.
Practicing together often gives an extra dimension. It also encourages you to practice the exercises at home every day. You can ask all your questions during the events.
For who?
The lessons are intended for both beginners and advanced students, for young and old. Anyone can join the lesson. In each lesson, the basics of the method are explained and practiced.

You are also very welcome if you have followed a workshop or training elsewhere according to the cold training, for example the Wim Hof method.
